1. Cutting Cables

1. Open the pliers fully.
2. Place the ribbon cable into the designated cutting blade area.
3. Apply firm, even pressure to the handles to cut the cable cleanly.

2. Stripping Cables

The pliers feature a dismantling knife for ribbon cables of 6 mm and 12 mm length.

1. Identify the appropriate stripping slot for your cable size (6mm or 12mm).
2. Insert the end of the ribbon cable into the chosen stripping slot.
3. Gently close the handles to engage the stripping blade, then pull the cable through to remove the insulation.
4. Inspect the stripped wires to ensure no damage occurred to the conductors.

3. Crimping Western Plugs (RJ 11/12)

1. Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket to the appropriate length, exposing the individual conductors.
2. Arrange the conductors according to the desired wiring standard (e.g., T568A or T568B for RJ45, though this tool is for RJ11/12).
3. Insert the prepared conductors into the Western plug, ensuring they reach the end of the plug and are in the correct order.
