- Submerge Scavenger Hose: Place the pre-filter end of the gray Scavenger Hose into your water source, ensuring it is fully submerged and positioned in the cleanest available water, ideally flowing water to avoid sediment.
- Prime the Filter: Before first use or if the filter has dried out, prime the system. Pump the handle 4 times, then allow the water to sit for approximately 2 minutes to fully wet the filter membrane. Discard this initial water.
- Pump Water: Place the clear Out Hose into your clean water container. Begin pumping the handle steadily. Water will be drawn through the Scavenger Hose, purified by the ultrafiltration cartridge and carbon disc, and dispensed through the Out Hose.
- Atleiskite slėgį: If pumping becomes difficult, press the small blue triangle on the top of the unit to release any built-up air pressure. Continue pumping until your container is filled.
- Ambidextrous Pumping: The rotating pump handle allows for comfortable use with either hand.
