The Tenda PH5 AV1000 Powerline Kit provides a high-speed network solution using your home's existing electrical wiring. This kit includes a Powerline Adapter (P3) and a Wi-Fi Powerline Extender (PA6), designed to eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones and extend your network coverage with speeds up to 1000 Mbps via powerline and 300 Mbps via Wi-Fi.

This manual provides instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Tenda PH5 AV1000 Powerline Kit.

3. Sąrankos instrukcijos

Follow these steps to set up your Tenda PH5 AV1000 Powerline Kit:

3.1. Pradinis prisijungimas

  1. Connect the Powerline Adapter (P3): Plug the P3 adapter into a wall outlet near your internet router. Do not use a power strip or extension cord, as this can degrade performance.
  2. Prisijunkite prie maršrutizatoriaus: Use the provided Ethernet cable to connect the P3 adapter to an available LAN port on your internet router.
  3. Plug in the Wi-Fi Powerline Extender (PA6): Plug the PA6 extender into a wall outlet in the room where you need extended network coverage. Ensure it is also plugged directly into a wall outlet.
  4. Palaukite indikatorių: Wait for the Powerline LED (house icon) on both devices to turn solid green, indicating a successful powerline connection. The Wi-Fi LED (Wi-Fi icon) on the PA6 should also turn solid green.

3.2. Wi-Fi Cloning (Optional)

The Wi-Fi cloning feature allows the PA6 extender to automatically copy your router's Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password, creating a seamless roaming network.

  1. Maršrutizatoriuje paspauskite WPS: Within two minutes of plugging in the PA6, press the WPS button on your main Wi-Fi router.
  2. Press Wi-Fi Button on PA6: Immediately after pressing WPS on the router, press the Wi-Fi button on the PA6 extender.
  3. Wait for Cloning: The Wi-Fi LED on the PA6 will flash during the cloning process and turn solid green once successful. Your PA6 will now broadcast a Wi-Fi network with the same name and password as your router.

Pastaba: If your router does not have a WPS button, or if Wi-Fi cloning fails, you can manually configure the Wi-Fi settings via the Tenda web interface (refer to the Operating section).

4. Naudojimo instrukcijos

4.1. Prietaisų prijungimas

  • Laidinis ryšys: The PA6 extender features two Gigabit Ethernet ports. You can connect devices such as Smart TVs, gaming consoles, or PCs directly to these ports using an Ethernet cable for a stable, high-speed wired connection.
  • Belaidis ryšys: Connect your Wi-Fi enabled devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops) to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the PA6 extender. If you used Wi-Fi cloning, the network name and password will be the same as your main router. Otherwise, refer to the default Wi-Fi details provided on the device label or configure them manually.

4.2. LED indikatoriai

The LED indicators provide information about the device status:

  • Maitinimo šviesos diodas (maitinimo piktograma):
    • Žalias švytėjimas: įrenginys įjungtas.
    • Išjungta: Įrenginys išjungtas.
  • Maitinimo linijos šviesos diodas (namo piktograma):
    • Solid Green: Good powerline connection.
    • Solid Red: Weak powerline connection.
    • Off: No powerline connection.
  • Wi-Fi LED (Wi-Fi icon - PA6 only):
    • Žalia spalva nuolat šviečia: aktyvus „Wi-Fi“.
    • Flashing Green: Wi-Fi cloning in progress.
    • Išjungta: Wi-Fi išjungtas.

Patarimas: If the Powerline LED on the PA6 is red, try plugging it into a different wall outlet to find a stronger connection point.

4.3. Web Valdymo sąsaja

For advanced settings and configuration, you can access the web management interface of the PA6 extender:

  1. Connect your computer to the PA6 extender either wirelessly or via an Ethernet cable.
  2. Atidarykite a web browser and enter the default IP address (usually printed on the device label or found in the Quick Installation Guide).
  3. Prisijunkite naudodami numatytąjį vartotojo vardą ir slaptažodį (taip pat rasite ant įrenginio etiketės).
  4. From here, you can change Wi-Fi settings, set Wi-Fi schedules, manage connected devices, and update firmware.

5. Priežiūra

  • Valymas: Įrenginiams valyti naudokite minkštą, sausą šluostę. Nenaudokite skystų ar aerozolinių valiklių.
  • Vieta: Ensure the devices are placed in well-ventilated areas to prevent overheating. Avoid placing them near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  • Firmware atnaujinimai: Reguliariai tikrinkite „Tenda“ oficialią website for firmware updates. Keeping your device's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and security.
  • Maitinimo lizdai: Always plug the powerline devices directly into a wall outlet. Avoid power strips, surge protectors, and extension cords, as they can interfere with powerline signal transmission.

6. Problemų sprendimas

6.1. No Powerline Connection (Powerline LED Off)

  • Ensure both the P3 adapter and PA6 extender are plugged directly into wall outlets.
  • Verify that the P3 adapter is connected to your router via an Ethernet cable.
  • Try plugging both devices into outlets within the same electrical circuit. Powerline communication works best within the same circuit.
  • If the issue persists, try resetting both devices to factory defaults (refer to the device's quick installation guide for reset instructions).

6.2. Slow Powerline Speed (Powerline LED Red)

  • Relocate the PA6 extender to a different wall outlet. The signal quality can vary between outlets.
  • Ensure no high-power electrical appliances (e.g., washing machines, refrigerators) are plugged into adjacent outlets or on the same circuit, as they can cause interference.
  • Avoid using power strips or extension cords.

6.3. Wi-Fi Not Working on PA6

  • Check if the Wi-Fi LED on the PA6 is solid green. If not, press the Wi-Fi button on the PA6 to enable Wi-Fi.
  • If Wi-Fi cloning failed, access the web management interface to manually configure the Wi-Fi settings (SSID and password).
  • Ensure the PA6 has a stable powerline connection (Powerline LED solid green).
