3.3 Jutiklio montavimas

Install the door/window sensors using the provided 3M adhesive strips. Ensure the two parts of each sensor are aligned and placed on the door/window frame and the moving part, with a gap of no more than 1 cm when closed. The PIR motion sensor should be placed in an area where it can detect movement across a wide field, such as a hallway or main entry point.

4. Sistemos valdymas

4.1 Apsaugos įjungimas ir išjungimas

You can arm or disarm the system using the provided remote controls or through the Smart Life App. The system supports different modes, such as "Away" (full arming) and "Home" (partial arming, e.g., only perimeter sensors active).

4.2 Įspėjimų gavimas

When a sensor is triggered, the alarm host will emit a loud 120-decibel siren. Simultaneously, if connected to Wi-Fi, the Smart Life App will send push notifications to your smartphone, alerting you to the event.

4.3 SOS funkcija

The remote controls include an SOS button. Pressing this button will immediately trigger the alarm and send an SOS notification via the app, providing an emergency alert for situations requiring immediate attention.

5. Priežiūra

5.1 Akumuliatoriaus keitimas

The main alarm host uses 3 AA batteries for backup power. Replace these batteries periodically or when the app indicates low battery. The remote controls use CR2025 button cell batteries. The door/window sensors also use small batteries; refer to the sensor's specific design for replacement instructions, typically involving sliding open a cover.

5.2 Valymas

Wipe the surfaces of all components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the devices. Ensure no dust or debris obstructs the PIR motion sensor's detection window.

6. Problemų sprendimas

6.1 No App Alerts During Wi-Fi Outage

If your home experiences a power or Wi-Fi outage, the alarm system will continue to function on its backup battery for up to 8 hours, emitting a 120dB siren if triggered. However, app notifications will not be sent without an active Wi-Fi connection.

Alarm Functionality During Outage

Image: A family watching TV, with the alarm unit visible, illustrating that the 120dB alarm still functions even without Wi-Fi, though app alerts are unavailable.

6.2 Klaidingi aliarmai

False alarms can occur due to improper sensor placement, pets, or environmental factors. Ensure motion sensors are not pointed directly at heat sources, air vents, or areas where pets frequently move. Adjust sensor sensitivity if available through the app. For door/window sensors, ensure they are securely mounted and not subject to vibrations that might cause them to momentarily separate.

Motion Sensor Placement Considerations

Image: Demonstrates proper motion sensor placement to avoid false alarms from pets or other movements, showing a sensor mounted high on a wall and a sensor near a pet door.

6.3 Sensor Not Triggering

Check the battery level of the sensor in question. Ensure the sensor is properly paired with the main unit via the app. For door/window sensors, verify that the two parts are correctly aligned and within the specified gap when the door/window is opened. For motion sensors, ensure there are no obstructions in its detection path.
