1. Attach your lure to the line.
2. Tighten the spool tension knob until the lure holds its position.
3. Press the thumb bar to release the spool. Slowly loosen the tension knob until the lure falls at a controlled rate, and the spool stops rotating when the lure hits the ground.
4. This setting prevents the spool from overrunning when the lure stops, reducing backlashes.

4.2 Drag System Adjustment

The Royale Legend II features a quadruple disc carbon fiber drag system, providing up to 17.6 lbs of smooth drag power.

1. The drag system is adjusted using the star-shaped knob located next to the handle.
2. Turn the star drag clockwise to increase drag pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
3. Set your drag to approximately 25-30% of your line's breaking strength. This allows the line to slip when a fish pulls hard, preventing line breakage and protecting your rod and reel.

Once your lure is in the water, turn the handle to retrieve the line. The Royale Legend II is available in two gear ratios:

• 5.4:1 Gear Ratio: Ideal for crankbaits and slower presentations, allowing you to work lures slowly for more strikes.

5.1 Valymas
