Once installed and power is restored, the light will enter a warm-up period (approximately 30-60 seconds) during which it may turn on and off. After this, it will operate according to the sensor settings.

The motion sensor has three adjustable dials:

- DISTANCE (SENS): Adjusts the motion detection sensitivity and range from 16.4 ft to 72 ft. Turn clockwise for higher sensitivity/longer range, counter-clockwise for lower sensitivity/shorter range.
- LAIKAS: Sets how long the light remains on after motion is detected, ranging from 10 seconds to 7 minutes. Turn clockwise for longer illumination, counter-clockwise for shorter.

- Day Mode (Sun icon): Motion detection works during both day and night.
