4. Sąranka ir diegimas
Follow these steps for proper installation of your smoke alarm:
- Pasirinkite vietą: Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, inside bedrooms, and outside sleeping areas. For optimal protection, place the alarm in the center of a ceiling or at least 10 cm (4 inches) from any wall. Avoid corners.
- Įdėkite akumuliatorių: If the 9V battery is not pre-installed, open the battery compartment on the back of the alarm and connect the 9V battery to the battery clip. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -). Close the battery compartment.

The SCS Sentinel SDA0037 Smoke Alarm operates continuously once installed with a functional battery.
- Normalus veikimas: The alarm will emit a short flash of its indicator light approximately every 30-40 seconds to confirm it is powered and functioning correctly.
- Signalizacija: When smoke is detected, the alarm will emit a loud, pulsating 85 dB sound, and the indicator light will flash rapidly.
- Self-Test Button: Press and hold the test button on the front of the alarm for a few seconds to perform a functional test. The alarm will sound, and the light will flash. Release the button to stop the test. Perform this test weekly.

Test the alarm after battery replacement.
- Valymas: Gently vacuum the exterior of the smoke alarm with a soft brush attachment once a month to remove dust and debris. Do not use water, cleaners, or solvents.
