1. For M.2 SSDs, remove the M.2 heatsink. Insert the M.2 SSD into the appropriate slot and secure it with the provided screw or toolless mechanism. Reattach the heatsink.
2. For SATA drives, connect one end of the SATA data cable to a SATA3 port on the motherboard and the other end to your storage drive. Connect the SATA power cable from your power supply to the drive.

1. Open the retention clip on the desired PCIe x16 slot.

3.1. Pradinis paleidimas ir BIOS / UEFI sąranka

Connect the included Wi-Fi antenna to the rear I/O panel for Wi-Fi 6E (802.11axe) and Bluetooth connectivity. For wired connections, use the Realtek 2.5G LAN port.

3.2.2. USB and Thunderbolt Ports

The Realtek ALC1220 7.1 CH HD Audio Codec with Nahimic Audio provides immersive sound. Connect your speakers or headphones to the appropriate audio jacks on the rear I/O panel.

3.4. Polychrome RGB Lighting

The motherboard features onboard RGB headers and addressable RGB headers. Connect compatible LED devices such as strips, CPU fans, and coolers. Use the ASRock Polychrome RGB Sync software to synchronize lighting effects across compatible accessories.

4. Priežiūra

4.1. BIOS Flashback

The BIOS Flashback feature allows you to update the BIOS without a CPU, RAM, or graphics card installed. This is useful for compatibility with newer processors or recovering from a corrupted BIOS.

1. Atsisiųskite naujausią BIOS file iš ASRock websvetainę.
2. Pervardykite BIOS file according to the instructions on the ASRock support page (usually to `creative.rom`).
3. Copy the renamed BIOS file to the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB flash drive.
4. Insert the USB flash drive into the designated BIOS Flashback USB port on the rear I/O panel.
5. Press the BIOS Flashback button. The LED will flash, indicating the update process. Wait until the LED stops flashing before powering on the system.
