Priežiūra

1. Cleaning Your Refrigerator

Regular cleaning helps maintain efficiency and hygiene. Always unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.

  • Interjeras: Vidinius paviršius nuplaukite šilto vandens ir kepimo sodos tirpalu (2 valgomieji šaukštai kepimo sodos 1 litrui vandens). Kruopščiai nuplaukite ir nusausinkite.
  • Išorė: Išorę valykite švelniu plovikliu ir šiltu vandeniu. Nusausinkite minkšta šluoste.
  • Durų tarpinė: Clean the door gasket regularly to ensure a proper seal. Use a soft cloth and mild soapy water.
  • Lentynos: The wire shelf can be removed and washed with mild soap and water.

Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads, as these can damage surfaces.

2. Manual Defrosting

This refrigerator features a manual defrost system. Frost will accumulate on the inner walls of the chiller compartment. When the frost layer becomes about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick, it should be defrosted.

  1. Turn the thermostat control to '0' (OFF) and unplug the refrigerator.
  2. Remove all food items from the refrigerator and store them in another cool place.
  3. Leave the door open to allow frost to melt. Place a towel or shallow pan at the bottom to collect melted water.
  4. Once defrosting is complete, clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
  5. Plug the refrigerator back in and reset the thermostat. Allow it to cool for a few hours before returning food.

Nenaudokite aštrių daiktų ar šildymo prietaisų šerkšnui šalinti, nes tai gali pažeisti aušinimo sistemą.

3. Power Interruptions and Vacations

  • Trumpos atostogos: Palikite šaldytuvą veikti trumpesnių nei trijų savaičių atostogų metu.
  • Ilgos atostogos: If the appliance will not be used for several months, remove all food, unplug the power cord, clean the interior thoroughly, and leave the door slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold growth.
