4. Sąranka ir laidai

Careful wiring is crucial for proper operation. Refer to the detailed wiring diagram below.

Detailed wiring diagram for the BLDC motor controller showing connections for motor phases, Hall sensors, power, and control signals.
Detailed wiring diagram for the BLDC motor controller. This diagram illustrates connections for motor phase lines (MA, MB, MC), Hall sensor wires (5V, Ha, Hb, Hc, GND), main power supply (VCC, GND), and control signals (P, G, S, 5V, D/R).
  1. Motor Phase Lines: Connect the three thick wires from your DC three-phase brushless motor (MA, MB, MC) to the corresponding terminals on the driver board.
  2. Holo jutiklio laidai: The motor's Hall sensor typically has five thin wires. Two are for power (5V and GND), and three are for Hall signals (Ha, Hb, Hc). Connect these to the corresponding Hall input terminals on the driver board. Ensure correct polarity for 5V and GND.
  3. Pagrindinis maitinimo šaltinis: Connect your external DC power supply to the VCC (positive) and GND (negative) terminals on the driver board. The operating voltage diapazonas yra 9-60 V.
  4. Valdymo signalai:
    • VR (Speed Control): The board has an onboard potentiometer for speed control. Alternatively, you can connect an external 0-5V analog signal or a PWM duty cycle signal to the VR input for speed regulation.
    • D/R (Direction Control): This interface controls the motor's rotation direction.
    • STOP (Brake/Stop): This interface can be used to stop or brake the motor.
    • SC (Speed Pulse Output): Provides a speed pulse signal.

Svarbu: When connecting Hall sensor wires, if you are unsure of the wire definitions, start with low voltage and current for initial testing. Adjust the Hall wire order until the motor operates smoothly. Avoid high voltage and current debugging if the Hall lines are not correctly sequenced, as this risks damaging the MOS tube.

5. Naudojimo instrukcijos

  1. Maitinimas: After ensuring all connections are correct, apply power within the 9-60V range.
  2. Greičio valdymas: Adjust the onboard potentiometer (VR) to control the motor speed. Turning it clockwise typically increases speed, and counter-clockwise decreases it. If using an external 0-5V analog signal or PWM, ensure the potentiometer is set to its minimum position.
  3. Direction Control (D/R): Use the D/R input to switch the motor's rotation direction. This can be connected to an external switch.
  4. Brake/Stop (STOP): Use the STOP input to engage the brake or stop the motor. This can also be connected to an external switch.

6. Vartotojo patarimai

  • Always double-check all wiring connections before applying power to prevent damage.
  • For initial testing, use a low voltage and current to verify correct Hall sensor wiring.
  • If the motor does not start smoothly or shakes, it indicates incorrect Hall sensor wiring. Try re-arranging the Hall signal wires.
  • A correctly wired motor will run smoothly and quietly, even at low speeds, with good torque.
  • The board is a bare module; ensure proper insulation for all wiring to avoid short circuits.

7. Problemų sprendimas

If the motor does not operate as expected, consider the following:

  1. Motor not starting or shaking: This is a common issue indicating incorrect Hall sensor wiring. The sequence of the three Hall signal lines (Ha, Hb, Hc) must match the motor's phase lines (MA, MB, MC). Try swapping the Hall signal wires until smooth operation is achieved.
  2. High current draw or excessive noise: This also suggests incorrect wiring, potentially between the motor phase lines and the Hall sensor lines. Disconnect power immediately and re-check all connections against the wiring diagram.
  3. No response from motor: Verify that the main power supply (VCC, GND) is correctly connected and within the 9-60V operating range. Also, check the 5V and GND connections for the Hall sensors.
  4. Motor runs but speed control doesn't work: Ensure the VR potentiometer is not at its minimum if using an external control signal. If using the onboard potentiometer, check its functionality.
  5. Motor runs but direction control doesn't work: Verify the connection to the D/R interface and ensure any external switch is functioning correctly.

Atsargiai: Do not use high current or high voltage for debugging if you suspect incorrect Hall line connections, as this can damage the MOS tube on the board.

8. Priežiūra

  • Keep the driver board clean and free from dust and moisture.
  • Avoid exposing the board to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  • Regularly inspect wiring for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the board, especially during high-power operation, to prevent overheating.
  • Do not attempt to repair the board if you are not qualified. Contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for service.

9. Atsargumo priemonės

  • The power supply circuit on the main board has no fuse. Built-in self-addition will cause permanent damage to the chip on the board (even 2 seconds is not allowed).
  • During normal operation, there is sampling overcurrent protection at the motor output. Since the module power and current are very large, please do not short circuit when the module is not working normally. Once a short circuit occurs, there is a possibility of burning the line.
  • For the first wiring test, please use small current and low voltage. After confirming correct operation, then proceed with high current and high voltage.
  • This is a bare board module. Pay attention to the insulation of the wiring lines. Strong voltage is not allowed to touch the board parts.
  • Do not connect a motor that is obviously inconsistent with the voltage and current of the drive module or is far away from the motor to avoid inexplicable damage.
