4.1 Model Differentiation

The ET34S and ET34SPRO models offer different functionalities. The ET34SPRO includes additional features for fiber optic network maintenance.

5. Sąranka

5.1 Įrenginio įkrovimas

The device comes with a built-in 1500mAh rechargeable lithium battery. To charge, connect the provided USB Charging Cable to the device and a 5V/2A/10W or higher USB power adapter (charger not included). The charging indicator on the screen will show the charging status.

5.2 Maitinimo įjungimas/išjungimas

Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) to turn the device on or off. The device supports an auto power-off function to conserve battery life.

5.3 Kalbos pasirinkimas

The thermal camera features an ISR 240x240 resolution, capable of detecting temperatures from -20°C to 550°C. It offers 3-point measurement (Center Point/Highest Point/Lowest Point) for precise temperature analysis.

6.1.2 Makrofotografija

Attach the magnetic macro lens for detailed inspection of small components, such as those on PCB circuits. This allows for clear viewing of details as small as 1mm x 1mm.

The multimeter supports a wide range of functions. Refer to the on-screen display and the manual for specific connection points and mode selections for each measurement type.

6.3 Optical Power Meter (ET34SPRO Only)

The ET34SPRO model includes an optical power meter with a measurable range of -70 to +6dBm, supporting various wavelengths and adapter types (ST/SC/FC).

6.4 Visual Fault Locator (VFL) (ET34SPRO Only)

The ET34SPRO also features a 10mW Visual Fault Locator with an approximate range of 10km. It offers three modes: Slow flash, Fast flash, and Always on, to help identify breaks or bends in fiber optic cables.

7. Priežiūra

7.1 Valymas

Clean the device regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the screen, use a screen-specific cleaning solution if necessary, applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.

7.2 Akumuliatoriaus priežiūra

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device when the low battery indicator appears. If storing the device for an extended period, ensure it is charged to approximately 50% and recharge every few months.

7.3 Saugykla

Store the device in its provided storage bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it out of reach of children.

8. Problemų sprendimas

  • Įrenginys neįsijungia: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB cable. If it still doesn't turn on, the battery may be deeply discharged or faulty.
  • Inaccurate multimeter readings: Check that the test leads are correctly inserted and making good contact with the circuit. Verify that the correct measurement mode is selected. Ensure the device's battery is not critically low.
  • Thermal image is blurry or unclear: Clean the infrared imaging lens. Ensure the macro lens is properly attached or removed as needed for your application.
  • Ekranas nereaguoja arba užstringa: Try restarting the device by holding down the power button. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

9. Vartotojo patarimai

  • For accurate multimeter readings, always ensure a firm and stable connection with the test probes.
  • When using the thermal camera, allow a few moments for the sensor to stabilize, especially when moving between environments with significant temperature differences.
  • Utilize the different color palettes in thermal imaging to highlight specific temperature variations more effectively for your application.
  • Regularly back up important thermal images to an external device if available, or manage the 60 data sets efficiently.
