Setup: Preparing Your Pattern and Fabric
- Pre-wash and Press Fabric: Always pre-wash your chosen fabric according to its care instructions to prevent shrinkage after the garment is made. Press the fabric smoothly before cutting.

- Cut Pattern Pieces: Cut out the paper pattern pieces along the designated lines for your size. If using a multi-size pattern, ensure you cut along the correct size line consistently.
- Lay Out Fabric: Fold your fabric as indicated in the pattern layout diagrams. Pay close attention to grainlines, nap direction (if applicable), and pattern matching for plaids or stripes.
- Pin and Cut Fabric: Pin the pattern pieces securely to the fabric. Using sharp fabric shears, carefully cut out all fabric pieces. Transfer all pattern markings (notches, dots, darts, etc.) to your fabric using tailor's chalk, a tracing wheel, or pins.
- Prepare Interfacing: Cut interfacing pieces as indicated by the pattern. If using fusible interfacing, follow the manufacturer's instructions for application to the wrong side of the fabric pieces.

Follow the general sequence of garment construction. Refer to the detailed diagrams and instructions provided directly on the pattern sheet for specific steps.
