This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of your Elna eXcellence 680+ Sewing Machine. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the machine to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Saugos instrukcijos
- Nuimdami dangčius, tepdami arba atlikdami bet kokius kitus naudotojo aptarnavimo pakeitimus, nurodytus naudojimo instrukcijoje, visada atjunkite įrenginį nuo elektros lizdo.
- Pirštus laikykite toliau nuo visų judančių dalių. Siuvimo mašinos adata turi būti ypač atsargi.
- Naudokite tinkamą adatos plokštelę. Netinkama plokštelė gali nulūžti adatą.
- Nenaudokite sulenktų adatų.
- Siuvimo metu netraukite ir nestumkite audinio. Tai gali iškreipti adatą ir ji gali nulūžti.
- Dirbdami su mašina dėvėkite apsauginius akinius.
- Niekada nenaudokite mašinos, jei užblokuotos oro angos. Saugokite siuvimo mašinos ir kojinio valdiklio ventiliacijos angas nuo pūkelių, dulkių ir palaidų audinių susikaupimų.
Sąranka
1. Išpakavimas ir įdėjimas
Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Place the machine on a stable, level surface with adequate lighting. Ensure there is enough space for fabric handling.
2. Maitinimo prijungimas
- Prijunkite maitinimo laidą prie įrenginio maitinimo įvesties, o tada – prie tinkamo elektros lizdo.
- Prijunkite kojinio valdiklio kištuką prie mašinos kojinio valdiklio lizdo.
3. Adatos įdėjimas
- Išjunkite maitinimo jungiklį.
- Atlaisvinkite adatą clamp prisukti.
- Įkiškite naują adatą plokščiąja puse į mašinos galą ir stumkite ją aukštyn kiek įmanoma aukščiau.
- Priveržkite adatą clamp tvirtai prisukite.
4. Ritės apvija ir įdėjimas
- Uždėkite siūlų ritę ant ritės kaiščio.
- Sekite ant mašinos nurodytą ritės vyniojimo kelią.
- Place the empty bobbin onto the bobbin winder spindle and push it to the right.
- Start the machine to wind the bobbin. Stop when full.
- Atidarykite ritės dangtelio plokštelę.
- Įkiškite suvyniotą ritę į ritės dėklą, užtikrindami, kad siūlas išsivyniotų teisinga kryptimi (paprastai prieš laikrodžio rodyklę).
- Pull the thread through the tension spring and guide it into the thread slot.
- Pakeiskite ritės dangtelį.

5. Upper Thread Threading
- Pakelkite spaustuvo kojos svirtį.
- Uždėkite siūlų ritę ant ritės kaiščio.
- Sekite ant mašinos nurodytą sunumeruotą siūlo įvėrimo kelią, pervesdami siūlą per visus įtempimo diskus ir kreipiklius.
- Thread the needle from front to back. Use the automatic needle threader if available.
- Pull the bobbin thread up through the needle plate hole by turning the handwheel towards you to lower and raise the needle once.
Mašinos valdymas
1. Pagrindiniai valdikliai
- Start/Stop mygtukas: Press to start and stop sewing without the foot controller.
- Greičio valdymo slankiklis: Adjusts the maximum sewing speed.

2. Dygsnio pasirinkimas
The Elna eXcellence 680+ features an LCD screen and direct stitch selection buttons. Use the navigation buttons to browse through stitch categories and select your desired stitch. The screen will display recommended stitch length and width, which can be adjusted using the +/- buttons.

3. Siuvimo pagrindai
- Padėkite audinį po prispaudimo pėdele.
- Nuleiskite prispaudimo pėdelę.
- Select your desired stitch.
- Begin sewing by pressing the foot controller or the Start/Stop button.
- Guide the fabric gently. Do not force it.
- At the end of a seam, press the reverse button to secure stitches, then press the automatic thread cutter button.
4. Using the Extension Table
The included extension table provides a larger work surface, which is particularly useful for quilting, larger projects, or when more support for fabric is needed. To attach, slide the extension table onto the free arm until it clicks into place. To remove, slide it off.

Priežiūra
1. Valymas
- Pūkelių ir dulkių šalinimas: Regularly clean the bobbin area and feed dogs using the provided brush. Turn off and unplug the machine before cleaning.
- Adatos plokštelė: Remove the needle plate to access and clean under the feed dogs.
2. Tepimas alyva
The Elna eXcellence 680+ is designed for minimal oiling. Refer to the full instruction manual for specific oiling points if required, or consult an authorized service center.
3. Adatos keitimas
Replace the needle frequently, especially after 8-10 hours of sewing or if it becomes bent or dull. A fresh needle prevents skipped stitches and fabric damage. Follow the needle installation steps in the Setup section.
