2. Saugos informacija
- DANGER - ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD: Prieš atlikdami įrenginio techninę priežiūrą, atjunkite maitinimą.
- Do not power on the unit until water flows out from the hot water dispenser faucet. Dry start will damage the unit.
- Ensure proper grounding by plugging the pre-attached 3 ft power cord into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use an outlet controlled by an on/off switch, an extension cord, or an adapter.
- As a precaution against potential leaks, place a drip pan (not included) under the tank. The drip pan will catch any water that leaks from your tank, protecting your cabinet's floor from water damage. It is recommended to place a leak detector (not included) in the drip pan to alert you if water is detected.
3. Diegimo vadovas
3.1. Prieš diegiant įvykdomi aspektai
- The chiller tank is designed for under-sink installation and takes up minimal cabinet space (approximately 15 inches tall x 11 inches wide x 9 inches deep).
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Keep the tank at least 0.4 inches (10mm) away from the wall.
- A grounded 3-prong electrical outlet is required.
- An "OPEN VENT" faucet is required. Using a standard faucet will damage the tank and void the warranty.
3.2. Faucet Installation (if applicable)
If installing a new faucet, drill a 1-3/8" hole using a 35 mm drill bit (if necessary) in your sink for the Ready Hot Faucet. Follow the faucet's specific instructions for mounting and securing it to the sink.

3.3. Mount Tank
Position the tank vertically beneath the faucet. Ensure it is placed in a cool, indoor spot, typically under the sink or inside a cabinet, with proper ventilation. Never install outdoors or in tight, unventilated spaces.
As a precaution against potential leaks, place a drip pan (not included) under the tank. The drip pan will catch any water that leaks from your tank, protecting your cabinet's floor from water damage. It is recommended to place a leak detector (not included) in the drip pan.
3.4. Connect Faucet to Tank
- Wrap the threads on both the water inlet and outlet ports of the chiller with 8 to 12 layers of Teflon tape to create a tight seal and prevent leaks.
- Screw on the quick-connect fittings to both ports.
- Insert the 1/4 inch tubing into each fitting until it clicks into place. Give it a gentle tug to ensure it's locked in.
- Connect the water inlet tubing from the chiller to the outflow of your water filtration system (if applicable).
- Connect the water outlet tubing from the chiller to your cold water faucet or dispenser line.
3.5. Connect to Water Supply
Connect the faucet to the main water supply using a T-connector shut-off valve (not included). Ensure all connections are secure and free of leaks.
3.6. Fill Tank with Water
Slowly turn on your water supply. Let cold water run through the system for about 5 minutes to flush out any carbon dust or internal residue. Do not drink this initial flushed water. Check all connections and fittings for leaks. If leaks are observed, tighten fittings or re-insert tubing until secure.
3.7. Ground the Tank
Make sure the thermostat control dial is in the OFF position. Plug the pre-attached 3 ft power cord into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use an outlet controlled by an on/off switch, an extension cord, or an adapter.
3.8. Install In-Line Filter (Optional)
A compatible Franke under-the-sink water filtration system can be added to improve taste, color, and health of your water. A scale filter is REQUIRED for hard water installations. Follow the filter manufacturer's instructions for installation.

4. Naudojimo instrukcijos
4.1. Dispensing Cold Water
Once the tank is filled and the system is grounded, turn the thermostat control dial to your desired setting. The chiller will begin to cool the water. Dispense cold water by activating your POU faucet.
4.2. Vandens temperatūros reguliavimas
The thermostat control dial allows you to adjust the water temperature. Turn the dial approximately 3/4ths of the way clockwise for a typical cold setting. If the water is too cold or spurting occurs (meaning it's too hot), turn the dial down a few notches. Always adjust the dial with the power off.
The default setting is around 5 or 6, which provides water between 42 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit.
4.3. Initial Flush
After installation and before initial use, flush the system by running cold water through the faucet for about 5 minutes. This helps clear any impurities from the new system. Flush the system 3 times before regular use.
5. Priežiūra
- Filtro keitimas: If an external water filter is installed, replace it regularly according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Typically, this involves unscrewing the old filter, screwing in a new one, and running some water through it.
- Valymas: Periodically check the chiller unit for dust or debris, especially around the fan vents, to ensure proper airflow and efficient operation.
6. Problemų sprendimas

- Verify that the water supply to the unit is open.
- Nuotėkis:
- Turn off the water supply to the unit immediately.
- Inspect all connections and fittings for tightness. Re-tighten any loose connections or re-insert tubing until secure.
- Ensure Teflon tape was properly applied during installation.
- Water Not Cold Enough:
- Adjust the thermostat control dial to a colder setting.
- Ensure the unit has adequate ventilation and is not in an enclosed, hot space.
- Spurting Water from Faucet:
- This indicates the water temperature might be too hot. Turn the thermostat control dial down a few notches.
