The cutting head can be adjusted to 4 different positions. Press the head adjustment button/lever, pivot the head to the desired angle, and ensure it locks firmly into place before operation.

- Use a sweeping motion to cut hedges.
- For best results, cut small amounts at a time. The trimmer is designed for light to medium work and new growth, typically up to 3/8 inch branch diameter.
- Avoid forcing the blades through thick branches, as this can cause jamming or damage.
- Maintain a firm grip on the tool and use the shoulder strap to help balance the weight.
