The AOFAR HX-700N uses one CR2-3V battery. To install or replace the battery:

6.2.1 Range Mode
This is the standard mode for single distance measurements. Aim at your target and press the POWER button to get an instant distance reading.

For continuous measurement, activate Scan Mode. Press and hold the POWER button while sweeping across multiple targets to get real-time distance updates. This is particularly useful for identifying targets quickly in a landscape.
6.2.3 Fog Mode

6.3 Unit Measurement (Meters/Yards)
To switch between Meters (M) and Yards (Y), long press the 'M' (MODE) button until the unit changes on the display.
