Note: The BLACK+DECKER BCD700S is sold without a battery or charger. Ensure you use compatible BLACK+DECKER 18V Lithium-Ion batteries and chargers.

1. To install the battery, align the battery pack with the port on the tool handle. Slide the battery into the handle until it clicks securely into place.
2. To remove the battery, press the release button (if present) and pull the battery pack out of the handle.
3. Refer to your battery charger's manual for proper charging procedures. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

• Gear Selector (High/Low Speed):
  • Position '1' (Low Speed): For high torque applications like screwdriving or drilling large holes in wood/metal.
