- Secure the tank using appropriate straps, brackets, or a custom-built enclosure. Ensure it cannot shift during vehicle movement.
5.3. Santechnikos jungtys
The tank features a 1-inch vent tube in the center to facilitate filling and prevent airlocks. Connect your RV's fresh water system to the tank using the provided fittings and appropriate plumbing lines (not included).

- Įsitikinkite, kad visi išleidimo vožtuvai yra uždaryti.
- Connect a potable water hose to your RV's fresh water fill inlet.
- Slowly open the water supply. The 1-inch vent tube will allow air to escape as the tank fills.
- Monitor the tank level (if equipped with a sensor) or listen for water exiting the vent/overflow to indicate a full tank.
- Close the water supply and disconnect the hose.
6.2. Using Water from the Tank
Once filled, the water from the tank is supplied to your RV's plumbing system via the water pump. Turn on your RV's water pump to pressurize the system and draw water from the tank.
6.3. Bako ištuštinimas
To drain the tank, open the designated fresh water drain valve located at the lowest point of your RV's fresh water system. Allow all water to empty completely, especially before winterization or long-term storage.
7. Priežiūra
7.1. Valymas ir dezinfekavimas
It is recommended to clean and sanitize your fresh water tank at least once a year, or more frequently if water quality is a concern or after prolonged storage.
- Visiškai ištuštinkite baką.
- Prepare a sanitizing solution using household bleach (sodium hypochlorite) at a ratio of 1/4 cup per 15 gallons of tank capacity. For a 45-gallon tank, use approximately 3/4 cup of bleach.
- Pour the bleach solution into the tank.
- Fill the tank completely with potable water.
- Run water through all faucets (hot and cold) until you smell bleach, then close the faucets.
- Allow the solution to sit in the tank and plumbing for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Drain the entire system.
- Refill the tank with fresh potable water and flush the system by running water through all faucets until the bleach smell is gone. You may need to repeat this step several times.
