Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX fill line. Bring the water to a boil (212°F), then discard the water. Repeat this process two to three times to remove any manufacturing residues. Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a damp audinys.

Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. The kettle body should be hand washed. Do not immerse the power base in water or any other liquid.

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, which can affect its performance. To descale, fill the kettle with a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or boil the solution and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water. Repeat if necessary.
