• Exhaust Air Mode: Fumes are extracted and discharged outside through a ventilation duct.
• Recirculating Air Mode: Fumes are filtered through activated charcoal filters and the purified air is returned to the kitchen.

4. Naudojimo instrukcijos

The Klarstein Monumenta extractor hood features a user-friendly 5-button control panel located on the front.

4.1 Valdymo skydelio funkcijos

The control panel typically includes buttons for:

• Maitinimo įjungimas/išjungimas: To switch the hood on or off.
• Ventiliatoriaus greičio pasirinkimas: Three distinct power levels (1, 2, 3) are available to adjust the extraction rate according to your cooking needs.
• Šviesos įjungimas/išjungimas: To control the integrated LED lighting (2 x 1.5 watts) for illuminating your cooking area.

It is recommended to switch on the extractor hood a few minutes before you start cooking and leave it running for a few minutes after you finish to ensure all fumes and odors are effectively removed.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your extractor hood. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance.

The aluminum grease filter should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to prevent grease buildup and maintain extraction efficiency. The central front flap can be opened for easy access.

• Remove the grease filter by releasing its latches.
• Wash the filter by hand in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher using a mild detergent.

5.2 Replacing Activated Carbon Filters (Recirculation Mode)

• Remove the grease filter to access the activated carbon filters.
• Twist or unlatch the old carbon filters to remove them.
• Install new activated carbon filters, ensuring they are securely in place.
