1. Wash the thermal carafe, carafe brew basket, single-serve pod holder, single-serve ground coffee basket, and removable cup rest in hot, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

2. First Use (Cleaning Cycle)

3. Fill the water reservoir with fresh water to the desired level for the number of cups you wish to brew (up to 12 cups).
4. Place the thermal carafe on the heating plate.

2. Brewing a Single Serve (K-Cup Pod or Ground Coffee)

1. Lift the single-serve brew head handle.
2. For K-Cup Pods: Insert a K-Cup pod into the pod holder. Close the handle firmly until it clicks.
3. Maltai kavai: Insert the single-serve ground coffee basket into the pod holder. Add up to 3 tablespoons of ground coffee. Close the handle firmly until it clicks.
4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh water for your desired cup size (6, 8, 10, 12, or 14 oz.).
5. Place your mug on the adjustable cup rest. For larger travel mugs, remove the cup rest.

3. Delay Brew Programming

The Delay Brew feature allows you to set a specific time for your coffee to start brewing automatically.

Mineral deposits (calcium) can build up in your coffee maker and affect its performance. Descale your coffee maker every 1-3 months, depending on water hardness.

1. Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into the water reservoir, then fill the rest with cold water.
