2. Connecting the Suction Hose
- Identify the suction inlet on the pump.
- Apply the provided thread seal tape to the threads of the suction hose adapter.
- Securely attach the appropriate adapter (NPT1" male thread + G1-1/4" female thread) to the suction hose.
- Connect the suction hose to the pump's inlet. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
- Attach the check valve with filter cover to the other end of the suction hose. This prevents debris from entering the pump.

Before first use or after the pump has run dry, it must be primed:
- Locate the priming port on the top of the pump.
- Unscrew the priming cap.
- Slowly pour clean water into the priming port until the pump casing is full.
- Replace and securely tighten the priming cap.
- Ensure the suction hose is submerged in the water source.

4. Connecting the Discharge Hose
Attach your garden hose or sprinkler system to the discharge port of the pump. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

- Place the suction end of the hose into the water source (e.g., rain barrel, pond, shallow well).
- Plug the pump into a grounded 110V power outlet.

- Monitor the water flow from the discharge hose. It may take a few moments for consistent flow to establish.
- When finished, turn the pump off using the ON/OFF switch and unplug it from the power source.
