Įvadas
The Irfora Smart Socket Tester (Model T 003) is designed to quickly and accurately detect the wiring status of electrical sockets and test the functionality of Residual Current Device (RCD) leakage switches. This device ensures the safety of household electricity by providing clear, digital readings of voltage, frequency, and wiring conditions directly on its LCD screen. Its compact and portable design makes it an essential tool for testing electrical outlets in various environments, including homes, offices, schools, and factories.
Saugos informacija
- Always ensure your hands are dry before handling electrical devices.
- Nenaudokite testerio, jei jis atrodo pažeistas arba su defektais.
- This device is designed for testing standard US 90-120V outlets. Do not use it with voltages outside this range or with incompatible plug types.
- The RCD test button should only be pressed on circuits protected by an RCD. Pressing it on a non-RCD protected circuit will not trip the breaker and could indicate a false sense of security.
- Visada laikykitės vietinių elektros saugos taisyklių.
- Laikyti vaikams nepasiekiamoje vietoje.

Naudojimo instrukcijos
1. Pagrindinis laidų bandymas
- Plug the Irfora Smart Socket Tester into the three-hole power socket you intend to test.
- Observe the LCD screen. The device will automatically display the detected wiring status (e.g., "CORRECT") along with the voltage and frequency (e.g., "AC 110V 60Hz").
2. RCD Leakage Switch Detection
- Ensure the socket is properly wired and protected by an RCD (Residual Current Device).
- With the tester plugged in, short press the red "TEST" button labeled "RCD".
- A functional RCD should trip, cutting power to the circuit. If the RCD does not trip, it indicates a potential fault with the RCD or the wiring, and further investigation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
- To restore power, reset the RCD breaker.
3. Testo rezultatų interpretavimas
The LCD screen will display one of the following wiring statuses:
- TEISINGA: The wiring is correct.
- MISSING GROUND: The ground wire is not connected or faulty.
- MISSING NEUTRAL: The neutral wire is not connected or faulty.
- LIVE NEUTRAL REVERSE: The live and neutral wires are swapped.
- LIVE GROUND REVERSE: The live and ground wires are swapped.
- LIVE GROUND REVERSE & MISSING GROUND: Both live and ground wires are swapped, and the ground is missing.
Any result other than "CORRECT" indicates a wiring fault that should be addressed by a qualified electrician to ensure electrical safety.

Priežiūra
The Irfora Smart Socket Tester requires minimal maintenance. Keep the device clean and dry. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Trikčių šalinimas
- Device does not power on or display results:
- Ensure the socket has power. Test with a known working appliance.
- Check if the tester is fully inserted into the socket.
- If the issue persists, the device may be faulty.
- RCD test button trips GFCI/RCD immediately upon plugging in:
- This could indicate a fault within the tester itself, causing it to draw excessive current or simulate a leakage condition incorrectly.
- Try the tester in a different, known good RCD-protected outlet. If the problem persists, the tester may be defective.
- Nenuoseklūs rodmenys:
- Ensure a stable connection to the outlet.
- Test multiple outlets to confirm if the issue is with the tester or a specific outlet.
