Ensure the included Carbonated Foam (chemical filtration) and Foam 30 PPI (mechanical filtration) cartridges are correctly placed within the filter body. 2. Attach Magnetic Connection System (MCS): The filter utilizes a magnetic connection system. Attach the external magnet to the outside of your aquarium glass, aligning it with the internal magnet on the filter unit. The MCS is rated for up to 6 mm (0.25") glass thickness.
